How Does The E-Mail Vault Work?
The GetMoven E-Mail Vault system employs fully automatic real-time archiving that works in parallel with all common mail servers. Any email forwarded to the system will be automatically accepted and stored in its entirety with all message contents, attachments and characteristics (date, sender, recipient, subject etc) preserved and fully indexed.
- Most mail servers can be set up to forward a copy of all messages to a specified email address which has been mapped to the E-Mail Vault system. This is known as "journaling" on MS Exchange for instance.
- This multi-layer Spam and Virus Filtering Technology results in a highly accurate Spam and Virus detection rate without filtering legitimate email.
etMoven E-Mail Vault administrators as well as domain owners or individual email users having an account on the system are able to access the E-Mail Vault interface to retrieve lost or deleted emails or search, view, download, forward or print messages or attachments.
